One of the best pulled pork & burnt ends I've hadHands down the best around, to bad they are only open two days a week

First time visiting Eli's ,the food was great, but get there earlier, they can and do run out. Only open Friday's and Saturdays.

Absolutely great food and friendly, quick service. The accommodations are rather spartan (picnic tables and plasticware), but the food makes up for it. We stopped by for shredded pork and sausages, end enjoyed it so much we purchased more to go (they package in styrofoam containers to keep it warm). Hours are very limited (just Fridays and Saturdays, 11:00am - 6:00pm), and it's cash only, but worth the minor limitations.

Wow!!! Super friendly service and the most amazing pork sandwich i've ever had and I'm from Texas. This is going to be a regular experience for our family. Looking forward to trying out their other meats! Yum!

Got there at 11:04 and was 9th in line..super secret, they will have burnt ends next Saturday but get there early!!

The wife and I decided it was time to try Eli’s bbq today based on reviews and living in the area. I have previously had bbq from Colorado to Memphis and was looking forward to this experience.I’m sorry to say it didn’t come close to expectations. I ordered a white meat chicken sandwich and expected a sandwich with pulled or sliced chicken, well it was white meat in the form of a bone-in chicken wing on top and a bone-in half a back in the middle. I find it hard to believe that this is sop and hope it is not.The wife had the beef sandwich dinner which seemed somewhat better, though loaded with fat.A positive was the outside seating!

Good people serving bonafide ‘cue. This is not for light eaters or people who want fine dining. This is only for those who can handle something that is big and bold yet laid-back at the same time.

Best barbeque around. Everybody knows it

This is a local favorite. If you didn't know about it, you would just drive on by except for the wonderful aroma of meat on the barbeque. For the locals who know about it, Eli's is a place you just have to visit. The food is super delicious!

Local hot spot if you like bbq! Only open a couple days but always has a line of customers craving Eli's receipe for full bellies.

This tiny little food shack is so good they are only open 2 days a week. It's that good. The barbeque is smoked by an old guy in a separate building behind the shack. The sliced pork is melt in your mouth smoky heaven.

Bring cash! That's the only downfall to this Amazing BBQ. We have to stop our selfies from eating here everyday that they are open!

We just left the beach and I Googled Barbeque in Dunedin I got 3 choices but when we drove by this quaint mom and pops we knew it would be the real deal. We definitely were not disappointed and they were celebrating the life of Eli one if the founders ao we got to participate and enjoy good food and people. We definitely will be going back for more.

Food was great. Ambiance is nice. Friendly servers good selection of food. Amazing dessert. A must go to place. Great choices.

I've been coming back to this place for years. Their Rib's BBQ is the best and very reasonable. One inconvenience is that they open only in weekends and they don't take credit cards so you need to bring cash but it's worthy.

It was good for Fl BBQ, brownies were dry so skip the sweets.

I would give ELI'S BBQ a Hell of ALOT more then 5 Stars it's the Best I've EVER Evea nothing even comes close to Compare... And the Ladys and Gentlemen that work there make you feel like you they Kin Folk Such a Great place... In My Heart and Belly forever

Great BBQ spot! No frills with outdoor picnic tables for eating. Pork ribs are great. 1/2 lb is so much food! Haven't tried anything else. Eat here every time I visit Dunedin if I can!

A legend in Pinellas, unpretentious, incredible sauces, wood-smoked, right next to the bike trail. Bring your appetite. You gonna need it.

Pull into downtown Dunedin on Friday or Saturday by auto or bike, as so many do, and you'll somehow find yourself craving barbecue. That's Eli's subliminal advertising at work, enveloping you in the scent of his his perfect BBQ!The location may be a little off Main St, but you'll find him. Just follow your nose to where Skinner St crosses the Pinellas Trail.As for the menu, if there's a line, step up and grab a recycled paper one to select your options while you wait, and hope those in front of you don't get the last of what you want! (They do run out, and then they close.)The ribs, sauce, beans, pulled pork, slaw and sausage are fantastic; as good as we've ever had.Can't say anything about the rest, cause we can't get by our favorites to try anything else.Vitals: Friday and Saturday only. Cash only. No indoor seating, limited picnic tables. Directly on the Pinellas Trail. Limited parking. Other than that: Amazing!

First time here and will be back with more loved ones. Had the chopped pork sandwich (dinner combo) and it was AMAZING! I'd have a photo of the meal but I ate it too quick to think that part through.

Best pork I've ever tasted! We deliver oak for the smoker, just tried the food for the first time the other day and was blown away. It's my new favorite lunch spot.

Only serving Friday and Saturday but WORTH THE WAIT!! My son will ONLY eat their bbq. The best part is it is right off the trail so we hop on our bikes and ride down. Makes a great day for the kids. Can't miss the smell of the smoke traveling down the road.

Always the best BBQ all town, love the the black eye pea salad, an awesome portion of BBQ pork sandwich, plus the baked beans were delicious. An awesome group of family that run it, very friendly and a joy to talk to.

Fantastic BBQ. Come early as they sell out of beef, sausage and burnt ends but that still leaves pork and chicken. Everything is awesome but the beef, sausage, and baked beans are insane! The ribs are pretty ridiculous too. Highly recommend. Also, Eli and Mrs. Eli are incredibly friendly.

This is a local favorite. Great simple bbq with all the sides you would expect. They only have outdoor seating on some picnic tables but that’s part of the for of getting some great bbq.

If you live near by do your self a favor and stop by this family owned Bar-B-Que spot. It may be small but the food is big in flavor! Perfect location in Dunedin along the trail and Downtown. Only open Fri and Sat but it's worth the wait. Make sure you go early because they will sell out quick!

Absolutely amazing first time trying and will be a regular stopping spot. Ribs tender and juicy. Pulled pork and beef if you're into meat this place is perfect. Can buy meat by itself ... No need for bread or other fillers ... Can walk on trail afterwards to walk off a bit for breathing room . #ribsihavenoselfcontrol

Absolutely one of a kind BBQ place. I got a burnt ends family dinner 1 lb meat and a 16 oz coleslaw 16 oz baked beans. Everything is phenomenal. The baked beans was the best. Strongly recommend.
